This series of briefs summarises findings of the REBA studies on the institutional and policy context (IPC) for social protection in southern Africa, which were mentored by Lionel Cliffe. The series comprises a regional level synthesis prepared by Lionel Cliffe and (shortly to be added) six country-level summaries prepared by Katharine Vincent based on the respective country studies commissioned under the REBA.
