The meeting which is scheduled for September 16 -17, 2013, will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa at Birchwood Hotel and O R Tambo Conference Centre. The conference seeks to engage with high level international representatives (AU, UNECA, SADC, WIEGO) and senior experts and stakeholders from various countries in the SADC region to discuss the extension of Social Protection to those working in the informal economy. This meeting will serve as a perfect opportunity for the conference to officially launch SASPEN in the region.
